March 27-31, 2017: Negotiating Conference to Ban Nuclear Weapons will be held at the United Nations in New York City. On October 27, 2016, the member states of the United Nations decided to launch negotiations of a new treaty prohibiting nuclear weapons in 2017. A follow-up conference takes place there June 14-July 7, 2017.  All governments, international organisations and civil society are invited to participate in these historic negotiations. here.
